A Faith Testimony

A testimony from the HWY 7 Band...

Last week HWY 7 was to sing in Oklahoma City, OK at a Rodeo Opry for 4 days and nights.  On Monday their leader, Greg Lynch, looked at their financial situation.  He questioned whether they should go or not.  They would have to charge motel rooms, food, and fuel.  Since they were the main group for Tuesday night, he felt like they should at least go for that, even if they had to drive all the way home when it was over.  He prayed and told God if they were supposed to be there that week then he knew He would provide for them.
He called the group members and told them that they were going to go for Tuesday and drive back, but for them to pack as if they were going for the whole week.
When they arrived Tuesday they told the man in charge of their situation, and that they would have to leave afterward.  The man disappeared for 30 minutes and came back with two churches that would provide their motel rooms.  Of course, then someone said, "What about eating all week?"  Greg said, "Well, if God can provide 3 motel rooms, He won't have any trouble providing meals."  Sure enough, all week, different pastors handed them money for food, and some even took the whole group out to eat.
There is plenty more to tell, but for lack of space, I'll just say that the blessings just kept coming all week.  Greg shared this testimony in their Sunday night service and God topped off the week with 60 to 70 people in the altar, on their face before God.  Is God Awesome or what?!

Did you know?

It is physically impossible for you to lick your elbow.
(90% of the people that read this will try to lick their elbow before church is out!)

Laughter is a Good Medicine

Acts 2:38

An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of religious service when she was startled by an intruder.  As she caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables, she yelled, "Stop!  Acts 2:38!"

The burglar stopped dead in his tracks.  The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done.  As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar, "Why did you just stand there?  All she did was yell a scripture to you."  "Scripture?" replied the burglar, "She said she had an AXE and two 38's!"

Never know when you can use scripture!
